Planned Giving

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

– 1 Timothy 6:7

A gift through your estate plan can not only benefit you and your loved ones, but also help to improve the lives of others. You can enhance your family’s financial well-being while continuing to support LifeSavers Foundation even after your death. It is the generosity of people like you that help LifeSavers fulfill its mission of providing free, high-quality medical care to North Texas women and children in need.

HOW YOU CAN GIVE

To make a planned gift to LifeSavers Foundation (Tax ID Number: 20-2066448):

Z

Bequests

The easiest way to make a lasting difference is to name LifeSavers Foundation in your will. If you have an existing will, we encourage you to work with your lawyer to prepare a simple codicil. You may bequeath a specific amount or percentage of your estate, providing unrestricted support or benefiting a specific program. The bequest can specify a gift of cash, securities, real estate, or tangible personal property.

Z

Life Insurance Policies

You may use one or more whole life insurance policies to make a future gift to LifeSavers Foundation. To do so, name LifeSavers Foundation as a percentage beneficiary of a new or existing policy, or simply transfer ownership. As with retirement plan assets, using a life insurance policy to make a charitable gift can be as quick and easy as completing a new beneficiary designation form.

If you have included LifeSavers Foundation in your estate planning, please let us know so that we may recognize your generosity.

Z

Retirement Plan Assets

Often considered an attractive option for making a planned gift, retirement plan assets are among the most tax burdened assets in an estate. To make a charitable gift of retirement assets, simply complete a new beneficiary designation form naming LifeSavers Foundation as a percentage beneficiary.

There are other ways that you can ease your tax burden, receive income, and leave a legacy. Charitable gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, and charitable unitrusts are just a few options that are available. Please explore all options with your financial advisor.

GIVING IS A WAY OF LIFE!

Giving is not limited to your finances; it’s a life choice. When we live with the spirit of giving, when we give the Lord our offerings, when we give to those in need, when we give of our time, our love, our resources, we are sowing seeds. These seeds can help others to live better lives.

Selecting the right charitable estate planning vehicle allows you to reduce your estate and income taxes. It can help you maximize the financial and tax benefits of your gift and create a larger gift than you thought possible.

Thank you for considering making LifeSavers Foundation a part of your legacy. Please consult with your financial advisor to find the most beneficial way for you to leave a legacy. Our Tax ID Number is 20-2066448.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to notify us of your wishes in making a gift.
