The LifeSavers Foundation hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The purpose is to serve women in need and raise funds for the Community Mobile Sonogram (“CMS”) and The Doctor Spot. The CMS program provides free pregnancy testing and sonograms to underserved women and teens in the Dallas metroplex and is a joint collaboration between Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (“PPC”) and the LifeSavers Foundation.
CMS is a thirty-one foot recreational vehicle which has been revamped with a sonogram table instead of a bed. The RV currently travels to seven, half-day locations per week, including Oak Cliff, West Dallas, North Dallas, Frisco, Garland, Mesquite and McKinney.
Beautiful and talented, Sheila Walsh was at the pinnacle of her career. From the outside everything seemed fine, but on the inside Sheila was in trouble. In her journal she wrote, “Lord, please hold me. I’m falling into a dark well. I feel as if I am disappearing a little more every day. I am so angry inside that I am afraid of myself. I feel so alone.” How did this happen? What brought her to her knees?
